The classic Southwold bitter and Adnams favourite - brimming with the fragrance of our finest hops and malt, it's dry yet refreshing, with a lingering bitter flavour.
Broadside 4.7% ABV (Served all year round)
With a name that commemorates the fierce Battle of Sole Bay fought against the Dutch Republic in 1672 off the coast of Southwold, Broadside is rich, with aromas of almonds, zest and conserved fruit, and a perfect balance of malt and hop flavours - an award-winning pint to savour. CAMRA Gold Medal Winner in the 2003 Champion Beer of Britain, Strong Bitter Category.
Explorer 4.3% ABV (Current Guest Ale)
We crossed the Atlantic to find the hops for Adnams Explorer. The use of Chinook and Columbus hops in the brew have an exciting effect. The beer is light and refreshing, suffused with the aromas of a grapefruit grove. The citrus attack will burst on your palate as the hops deliver their fruity bitterness. A Blonde beer, Adnams Explorer will keep you coming back for more.
